Commemorative Ornaments

WPI alumni answered the call of the University's students for a much needed athletic facility with their monetary contributions to the construction of Alumni Gymnasium. Completed in 1916, the University's first indoor athletic facility has housed a track, basketball court, swimming pool, fitness center, bowling lanes, locker rooms, and offices, and was home to WPI's acclaimed wrestling team.

Today, with the addition of the Sports and Recreation Center to campus, this venerable WPI landmark enters a new phase of life as a hub of innovation and project-based problem solving. This year's ornament - which illustrates some of the building's most recognizable features - celebrates Alumni Gym for its contributions to the college experiences of WPI students both past, present and future.

Each three dimensional keepsake ornament is made from 24k gold finish
over brass and is packaged in an attractive gift box. Ornaments are $20.00 each.*

In addition to their traditional use, the images make beautiful
