WPI Official Class Rings

Each gold ring symbolically captures the uniqueness of WPI. The top of the ring features the WPI seal. The central shield contains symbols related to the history and mission of the Institute: the heart represents Worcester as being at the heart of the Commonwealth, two open books and an arm and hammer represent WPI's heritage of balancing theory and application. WPI's full name and founding date, in Roman numerals, encircle the shield.

The first two buildings on campus, the Two Towers, are seen on one side of the Official Ring and represent the balance of theory and practice. The Goat's Head is depicted on the other side of the ring. The tradition of this longstanding symbol has evolved over the years and today is at the heart of several class rivalry events.

The Official Ring is a lifelong connection to your experience at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. WPI values the pursuit of innovation, academic inquiry, and excellence. These attributes will continue with you.

You may select from 10K, 14K or 18K yellow or white gold. The inside of the ring may be personalized by engraving the name or initials, up to 18 characters.
